VS. League High Score Winner
December, 2005
Jordan Lowe has won the trophy for highest number of points earned for the November / December play period.
Jordan won the custom Superman trophy. A different trophy is awarded every two months to the player with the highest amount of league points.

D&D Miniature Underdark Release Tournament
October 29, 2005
On Saturday, October 29, Blackthorn Game Center hosted a Release Tournament for the new D&D Miniatures Underdark expansion.

Magic Ravnica Release Tournament
October 8, 2005
On Saturday, October 8, Blackthorn Game Center was proud to host a Release Tournament for the new Magic Ravnica expansion.
This is one of the most exciting and popular sets to be released by Wizards of the Coast in recent years.
The tournament was a Booster Draft format, running 5 rounds of swiss with the top 8 going on to the final rounds of single elimination.

Anachronism Sword Tournament No.3
Third time is the charm for Lowe

October 1, 2005
After three attempts at the coveted sword prize, Jordan Lowe has finally won.
Jordan has placed in the finals at each event only to be knocked out at the end.
This time he played hard, made it through, and took home the King Soloman Sword.
Jordan is ranked in the top 30 of players of ANACHRONISM is the USA.

VS. League High Score Winner for September - October
October, 2005
Congratulations to Matthew Bond for winning the first VS. League trophy. Matt won the custom Batman trophy for having the highest number of points for the September / October play period.





Anachronism Sword Tournament 2
September 3, 2005
Congratulations to the winners of our second Anachronism sword tournament! The format was modified stable, where each player used a different deck for each round for a total of 4 rounds of swiss. The semi-finals were top 4, with the final 2 competing for first place.
The winners were Matthew Romine taking first place, Matthew Bond placed second, and Markus Brown winning third.
Prizes included the sword, DVDs, game mats, limited edition cards, and other promo packs. In addition to the tournament winners, prizes were awarded to randomly drawn players.

Star Wars Universe Miniatures Release Tournament
August 27, 2005

Blackthorn was pleased to be one of only 30 locations in North America to host a tournament for the release of the new Star Wars Universe miniatures.
Similar to the D&D Huge miniatures in packaging format, each booster contains one "huge" figure in addition to the regular figures.
The format was sealed, players built their squad based on the figures they received in their two booster packs. The tournament was a 100 point, Kill-them-All.
Each player received Star Wars tokens, a Sith players guide, and a variant painted figure. First place received an entire case of the new Star Wars Universe boosters.

Neopets Lost Desert Gameday Tournament
