SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL TOURNAMENT

Tournament Structure/Format
  • The tournament will consist of 1 player versus 1 player each round.
  • Players will be paired each round using modified swiss format.
  • Before the first round a drawing will be made prior to the start of the round. This drawing will determine whether items will be on, or off for the following rounds. For example, if the drawing says that first round will have items on, the following rounds would be: 2 off, 3 on, 4 off, 5 on.
  • Players will compete in 4 rounds (5 rounds if needed) of swiss before cut to semi-finals of top 4 players.
  • The top 4 players will move into the final rounds of single elimination.
  • Stock, played with 5 lives. When you play like this, you have no time limit, but you can only be knocked out of the arena 5 times before losing.
  • 4 (or 5) rounds - Stock/5
  • Random stages
  • Top 4 for semi-finals
  • Top 2 for finals
  • Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Pack-O-Snacks grab bags for 1st through 4th
  • Players may change characters for each round. However, the character should be noted with the judge BEFORE sitting down to play the round. That way a player can't change once he sees what his opponent is playing.




Prize Support:

1st and 2nd place will each win a custom medallion and a "Pack-O-Snacks" grab bag.

3rd and 4th place will each get a "Pack-O-Snacks" grab bag.

1st place will also receive a pass for free entry into our next tournament.
